with Web based Technology” during the Technical Meeting of
the Pune Chapter of The Institute of Indian Foundrymen at Pune
on 29th October 2005. The talk was well received by the
Audience.

| Ascent Informatics (India) Pvt. Ltd. moves
to a new spacious location from 01 September 2005. The new
office spread over roughly 3000 sq ft is additional space
being used for the new Projects and ODCs being established.
The new facility is conveniently located and will house the
major part of the development infrastructure. Some of the
projects and Registered office of the Company will continue to
operate from current location.

Ms. Sujata Tilak, MD, Ascent Informatics,
was invited to present a Paper on Remote Monitoring of
Battlefield Assets during a Seminar on “Communications
Technology & IT Applications in Defence”. The
Seminar was organized jointly by Headquarters, Southern
Command and Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industry &
Agriculture at Pune on 12 & 13 April 2005.
The Paper covered basic architectural
issues in setting up the Battlefield Management System in
general and Remote Monitoring in particular. The proposed
architecture is similar to the PlantLink architecture, which
is now a stabilized product of AIPL. It also covered the
integration of various other tools like Asset Tracking, GIS
& GPS Systems, Communications in the remote areas, etc.
for building the complete system.
The Paper was well received and appreciated
by the Army users as well as the other industry participants
in the Seminar.

AIPL
participated in the International Exhibition and
Conference on Instrumentation and Control - Incon 04
organized by Instrument Society of India in association with
Pune Institute of Engineering and Technology (Formerly College
of Engineering, Pune – COEP). The exhibition was held in
Pune, India at COEP between 18 & 21 Dec. 04.
AIPL displayed its product - PlantLink,
a web based monitoring and control solution in the exhibition.
The display included live system and its integration with
hardware devices and systems.
AIPL was happy to support Incon 04 by
establishing a distributed and on-line
information system based on its product Infository.
The information system comprised of all event presentations,
speaker profiles, event information, and general info about
Pune, etc. |

Mrs. Sujata Tilak, M.D. of AIPL presented a
Paper on “Web Technologies in Industrial Automation“
during the conference which was widely received and
appreciated. Dr. Arvind Tilak, Director, AIPL coauthored a
paper on “Crisis Monitoring & Management:
Leveraging Software & Communication“ for the
Conference which was also well received.

Sujata Tilak, M.D., AIPL has
presented a Paper on Internet & Intranet Technology in
Automation at Interkama India 2003. Automation fair INTERKAMA
was held in India at Hyderabad, between 24 & 27 Sept. 2003. ISA
Asia Pacific District has organised 'Three Day International
Conference' at the same venue in which the Paper was presented. |

JETRO Delegation visits AIPL Office on 19th August 2003
As part of Business Matching Program of Japan
External Trade Organisation JETRO, AIPL was selected to host the
JETRO Delegation visiting Pune. The Delegation consisted of Mr.
Yukio Nishiyama, Ms. Hisae Iijima, Mr. Akihiro Nagamori and Mr.
Malcom Mehta.
During the visit Ms. Sujata Tilak briefed the
Delegation about the competencies and Business Canvass of AIPL,
Quality processes followed and other strengths. Delegation was also
briefed on the AIPL products namely PlantLink, Infository and AEMS.
The discussions were useful and are expected to result into concrete
queries for business development in Japanese market. |
